New Destinations

I've been kicking around the internet a bit today and I've visited some new and worthwhile destinations. Added to my "Destinations" list are :
  • Biker Law Blog The blog of biker and motorcycle lawyer Norman Gregory Fernandez
  • Biker's Voice An internet chat forum for bikers.
  • ChopperStickers.com A site that specializes in motorcycle helmet stickers but has lots more biker oriented news and info. Check out the Friday Eye Candy feature.
  • Mike Odom’s blog about motorcycles, biker events, photography, law, news and more
  • Motorcycle Roads Blog about great motorcycle roads in the U.S.
  • Rush Hour Rambling An excellent blog by a "ride to work' advocate.
  • That's Funny Shit by Anonymous Biker. Just what it sounds like. Remember humor is relative. ( I like the one about the koala and the lizard smoking a joint)

Indeed they can. I've met several.

In Savana,Illinois there is a biker hangout called The Iron Horse Social Club. Their slogan, "Where bikers and other intellectual trash foregather."
I stopped in there this summer to get out of the rain. Guy has 15 antique motorcycles on display in the bar. I gues it really rocks on weekends.

I wish we had a place like that our here in Southern California!

I ride with medical doctors, scientist, dentist, school teachers, you name it. The intellect goes out the door once we put the leathers on
:) It's an amazing phenomenon.

Gary Charpentier's Rush Hour Rambling blog is an excellent read on all the trials and tribulations of a year round rider. He has inspired a number of bloggers including myself.

There is a site you might want to check out -- Musings of an Intrepid Commuter. Dan Bateman rides through hell at times and he posts a lot of great riding safety stuff too and does it with writing fun and flair!
