Another Biker Has Gone Down

Last Sunday evening Chris was coming home from St Maries on his Harley around 9:30PM. He tried to avoid an Elk and laid the bike down. He survived the crash only to be run over and killed by a car.

I didn't know Chris personally, but I do know his partner Susan, with whom I taught in Alaska. The last time I had contact with her, Susan was excited that she had just purchased her first Harley, a Sportster. I had planned to ride up and see them in august after Sturgis.
