Fall Color Ride

Local H.O.G. chapter went on a fall colors ride looping into Wyoming at Alpine, just south of Jackson and then turning back into Idaho at Freedom. We were, I think, about two weeks early. Although the scrub is starting to turn red the aspen still isn't there yet. In another couple of weeks it should be spectacular. I'll keep you posted. The weather was very nearly perfect, despite some rain showers in late aftenoon. Here a few of the riders are shown infront of the old Henry store, built in 1892 but closed for about 40 years. How many cows gave their hides for all the black leather? Of course, as you can see by the trailered bike, not everyone's ride was a pleasure. Blown head gasket maybe?
