The sun broke through about noon for the first time in two days. Two inches of rain fell in the last twenty-four hours and that's a lot of rain for the high desert of southeast Idaho. Looking out the front door of my house I can see new snow on the surrounding mountains. Some of them were snow free last week. The weather in Idaho can be strange and unpredictable. Forecast for the next few days is for sunshine and a steady warming. Should be in the sixties tomorrow and the seventies on Saturday and that's good news. I putting the bike in the garage Saturday and going on an all day float trip on the Snake River. I'll be home by early evening but I'll leave the bike parked as these float trips usually involve the consumption of considerable amounts of beer. Bikes and too much beer...not a good combo. Sunday is supposed to be good weather too so I'll be on the road again.
